Clear Vegan Protein Ice Lollies
These two fruity and refreshing ice lolly recipes are the perfect treat for a sunny day, whilst watching a film or for dessert!
This recipe is made using our two new flavours of Clear Vegan Protein - Apple & Elderflower and Pineapple & Grapefruit. Our Clear Vegan Protein has only 1g of sugar and added vitamin B6 1,2 contributing towards fighting the feeling of fatigue. It also has an impressive 24g of protein per serving - so, why not increase your protein intake by making this nutritious yet simple snack?

1. Pineapple and Grapefruit Protein Ice Lollies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2x scoops of Pineapple and Grapefruit Clear Vegan Protein
- 300ml of fresh pineapple juice
- 200ml of fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 handful of pomegranate seeds
- 200ml of water
Method
- In a protein shaker, add the protein and the water, shake well to ensure no lumps.
- Empty into a jug, along with the pineapple juice and the grapefruit juice and stir together. Check the taste, if it is too sweet you can add a bit more water.
- Pour into ice lolly moulds and add a scattering of the pomegranate seeds to each ice lolly.
- Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.
- Serve and enjoy!
2. Apple and Elderflower Ice Lollies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2x scoops of Apple and Elderflower Clear Vegan Protein
- 300ml fresh apple juice
- 50ml elderflower cordial
- 1 handful of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 200ml of water
Method
- In a protein shaker, add the protein and the water, shake well to ensure no lumps.
- Empty into a jug, along with the apple juice and elderflower cordial and stir together. Check the taste, if it is too sweet you can add a bit more water.
- Pour into ice lolly moulds and add a scattering of mixed berries to each ice lolly.
- Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.
- Serve and enjoy!

Arabella has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Glasgow where she covered health topics ranging from the physiological effects of exercise and nutrition, to psychology and neuroscience.
She has a lifelong interest in sport and fitness, including running, swimming, hockey, and especially rowing. At university, Arabella was a keen rower and competed in the first boat at events such as the prestigious Henley Women’s Regatta, The Scottish Boat Race, and British University Championships, and won Novice Rower of the year in her first year.
